Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Cheese was the first rare dragon to befriend the scroll keeper. The holes in his wings suggest he is of Swiss origin but this also means he cannot fly. He is wise and knows to avoid the hungry hatchlings on the scroll. He longs for the day a paper dragon inhabits the scroll. The two would have so much to talk about.
