Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Due to the pure desperation of a son, her father whom was of another clan had raised her as a boy, all until he had found himself a true son. He then hardly payed any attention to his other "son", and the other dragons of the clan had suspicions of Linus not being of clan blood, thus having her chased out.

Upon her leaving, she had stumbled across a magnificent Valley that had all sorts of habitats for all sorts of dragons. She then had met Erepta, an Elder whom had agreed for Linus to be her apprentice. This had her become recognized throughout the Valley, finally she had found a refuge.

She now competes for the role of the Leader of the clan with Fared, he often teases her by calling her 'Lina'.
