White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Alquawen was christened in the tongue of the distant elves, under whom white dragons studied, and gained their wise, peaceful natures and powerful healing abilities.  Alquawen means "swan-lady", named so for her fair looks and quiet nobility.  The staff she carries was also wrought by the elves and given to her when she reached maturity.  Alquawen is one of the few dragons in the Clan Cave that prefers to stay inside the cool cave rather than wandering about the forests or soaring through the skies.  She travels abroad only to seek out food in the thick forest at the base of the cliffs, to stretch her feathery wings, or to heal the nearby dragons who require her expertise.  She works tirelessly as designated healer for the entire of the clan and even for the occasional injured drifter who happens past.  She is generous but proud, only asking for respect in return for her services.  She delights in talking to Erynne and Lucius, who are always nearby.  Her mate is the lovely Havelocke.
