Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Out of the sky came an egg, which landed safely upon its own cloud.  Upon the hatching of this egg, a flighty dragon of the most impossible wishes and fantasies was born for all hopeful wanderers to see.

They called him Nuage Malavis, for he gave the most unrealistic hopes to all that had the misfortune to find him.  Though he never meant harm, all those he passed saw their wildest dreams and fantasies flash before their eyes.  It made them grossly overestimate their personal capabilities, and upon failing at achieving their goals, they slipped into the worst depression of their lives.

They called him Nuage Malavis, though he only wanted to bring joy.  Now, he wanders the skies, searching endlessly for an artist that can never dream enough; one who will call him, "Nuage Magnifique", as he should have been known all along.
