Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Daifu Tsuchi, although one of the younger males, acts the most mature aside from Shiro. As an earth dragon, Daifu spends most of his time in the deepest parts of the cave, coming out only to eat and once in a while play with hatchlings. Otherwise he often sleeps and, as he claims, learn great wisedom from the earth itself. He tries hard not to cause earthquakes very often.
