Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a large, shield-like object at the end of its tail that it uses for protection.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

From the day it started breaking its egg's shell, The Hilarious Mathematician has been bound by inexplicable forces to a runic system known (and often demonized) as "mathematics". Unlike many other frozen hatchlings on the scroll, this little Guardian spends most of its time solving ridiculously hard problems and applying its vast mathematical knowledge to every context possible. Few hatchlings can bear being around this ironically-named dragon and it has hordes of imaginary friends. Coincidentally, the imaginary friends share its interests.
