Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"Unique" doesn't begin to describe this young Silver.  River is named for the body of water that he so resembles, his shimmering scales mimicking a reflective surface and his frills rippling in the wind like the soft waves in a deeper blue than his forbears boast.  He is the pride of every clan to which he belongs and his magic is stronger than most, consistent with the blood of the Black dragon in his veins.  River is strong and silent, rarely heard, but often seen, and his fighting prowess promises to be worthy of his kin.
