Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When Lagaroo was turned by an sneaky vampire lurking in her nest, her parents threw her off a cliff in an attempt to kill the monster that was growing inside her egg. Lagaroo's egg was caught completely on accident by another vampire, Sampiro. Sampiro raised Lagaroo and taught her that being a vampire was nothing to be ashamed about and Lagaroo grew up to be a self-confident and independent dragon. Lagaroo has had terrible luck with keeping the eggs that she turns since she refuses to protect the eggs that she bites and the other dragons kick it out immediately. Sampiro thinks it has something to do with the hard feelings Lagaroo hold for her parents for abandoning her, in some twisted way. Lagaroo cannot bring herself to care for anything like a child, fearful that she will hurt someone like her parents had hurt her.
