This is a baby chick, not a dragon. So what was it doing in the dragons’ cave?

A young chick, born into a dragon's cave, one may believe Wen was given the short end of the stick. However, this lifestyle truly does suit her well! Due to the never-ending protection of her Guardian, Ale'quel, Wen is never in any danger from ravenous dragons. Yes, her Guardian. It's well known that Ale'quel has a soft spot for the small bird, and she seems to regard him as her adoring father and never leaves his side. She loves sitting in the shadow of his powerful wings, or on the crest of his back, listening to his soft, gruff voice as he tells her stories of their clan. She's regarded as a curiosity to some dragons, an unobtainable delicacy to others, and a nuisance by Ale'quel's silver mate. Aranel greatly dislikes the chick, as she's very jealous of the time her mate spends with the young fowl. Wen pays this jealousy no mind though, as to her nothing can change the fact Ale'quel is her father, caretaker, and above all- Guardian.
