Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sgiamh is a true beauty, sure to catch attention wherever she goes with her glittering silver scales and slim body. In character she is calm, kind and patient, but she's also... mortally afraid of mice. Whenever she (thinks she) sees one, she will pour out loud shrieks until her faithful mate Sgiath comes and shields her from the hairy rodent. Not that this is particularly useful, as mice generally don't like staying around giant shrieking reptiles, but Sgiath doesn't mind and just likes the way his mate curls up to him and regards him as 'her hero'.
