It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fujiiro's name means "Light Purple" in Japanese. He is a son of Akihiko and Akemi, and is his parents precious boy. He is best friends with his older brother Zen. Although the two were not raised together, they have been best friends since they were both in the bachelor group together. They are both rather quiet and calm dragons, and love nothing more than relaxing with their mates. They are mated to best friends, Zen to Aiba and Fujiiro to Keiba. While Fujiiro is very relaxed and calm, Keiba is a little spitfire. However, like a gentle moth to a flame, the attraction between the two has always been strong (although far less dangerous). They are so in love, and have been pretty much since they first laid eyes on one another. They became mates in a double ceremony, along with Zen and Aiba. They are soul mates, and their love is eternal. They may be very different, but they were made for each other.
