Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sonic Sungleam's majestic and flawless appearance attracts a lot of attention from the single females in his clan, and even from those outside of it.  Because of this, he has become extremely arrogant and conceited, feeling that any female would be fortunate to have him as a mate, if any coule ever get him to settle down. Even though he considers himself a part of a group of bachelors, the other bachelors look at him with jealousy and resentment. Syfr's HolyWings and Ni-Laila, two female pink dragons, constantly fight for his affection. Even though he acknowledges all of the females who show interest in him, he has no intention of ever being loyal to any of them and often leaves them caring for any eggs they produced together alone.
