Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It likes hiding under dead leaves and attacking your ankles when you pass by.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Rat is sneaky and also rather manipulative for such a young dragon. It can use its cuteness to escape accepting responsibility for misbehaving, but not all dragons buy the ruse. Rat's venom is rather potent for one so young, but when it's used, it can take days for it to regenerate in the little dragon's system. Rat is always eager to hunt and kill using its wiles and toxin.
