Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Though stereotyped to be lonesome adventurers, certain Sunset Dragons such as PerkyRibena are friendly and overzealous. This particular one lives and travels everywhere with his beloved friend, DistrustfulRibena, another Sunset who was found alongside him in a cave of sorts.

PerkyRibena is a large male who is slightly narcissistic, and considers himself a hero—at which point his friend always scoffs with the intention of saying 'I beg to differ'—even though he has never been on an exciting journey of any kind. Unfortunately, his dream has always been to be a Sunrise Dragon, which he knows is a change that will never occur, though this desire is somewhat lessened when he is reminded that the other breed of dragon likes waking up early—a feat PerkyRibena has never accomplished.
