Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has two heads. You expected it to have some color, though.

And look! It has grown wings and changed color! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

of this little creature.

Undying curiosity

lends its wings to those

who look to the heavens,

soaring, gliding, diving:

a vivid portrait of a

life taken to the skies.

Steadfast motivation

gives its strength to those

seeking the treasures of the earth,

exploring, uncovering, traveling,

the constant motion of

endless adventure through the land.

Between these two realms

exists two little souls:

half yearns for the skies,

half longs for the earth,

yet bound together by fate

forevermore.
