When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Bern-chan (Bernkastel) has an enormous lake that she shares with little River. She always seems content with its size and enjoys simply swimming around, teaching River, or catching large fish. There doesn't seem to be any reason she'd want to leave.
Recently, however, she has vanished randomly along with a Magi Dragon, Miata. Only the scroll keeper seems to be worried. Even Bern-chan's closest friend simply assumes she and Miata have gone to a beach, sea, or somewhere with other dragons. After a day or two, they always return just before leaving again, but it's an unsettling situation for the scroll keeper. You can see her thoughts just by looking at her.
She's wondering if something will happen that will keep them from coming back. She's wondering if they'll get killed.
Ah... that would definitely be an interesting situation.
