Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hroc is a little odd. Unlike other Black dragons he hunts during the day yet he is always gone during the night. It did not take them long to figure out what he was doing. As his songs rang out clearly. He sang every night and what beautiful music it was! He sang about what he truly loved, nighttime. The moon, lone wolves howling, and the predators of the night all made it into his songs. He is not shy about his singing though. If someone would ask him to sing he will gladly do it, but he never takes requests. He always says his songs come from his heart and if he doesn't like what he's sing about his songs would sound horrible.
