Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As befits one of his kind, this dragon is best known for being solid. Storm, plague, war--through the span of centuries he weathered all, a calming and powerful presence that did all he could to assist others even during the depths of great calamity. His selflessness earned him the friendship of several like-minded dragons, and together all worked to better the world around them.

Until the Betrayal.

One of their companions lost her beloved in battle they had fought to prevent. Slipping swiftly into insanity, she decided she had to kill her friends and resurrect them as undead to ensure they could never be stolen from her. One attempt succeeded, another ended in a botched revival--and the last two failed, this dragon putting an end to her plan, but finding himself unable to end her life. He knows that she cannot be allowed to roam free, however, and now chases in pursuit... all while struggling with the reality that killing her is the only true way to spare other innocents that fate.
