Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Turquoise Dessert was always teased by her friends about her name, but in a friendly way so she took no offense. She grew up under the care of the first five dragons and grew up with Flaming Turquoise(m) and Wave Striders(m). She was one of the first ten dragons and only bows her head to the first five and the owner as she was the 6th egg to hatch.

When Wave Strider tried to court her, she refused, saying she valued the clan and was troubled that another egg might be a burden to the clan.
