Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. The sun's dying rays cast an orange glow across the forest as Ocean Fire flew over the tips of the trees, scanning the ground for any sign of movement. Suddenly he dove down, narrowly avoiding the outstretched branches in his way. He brought his claws down in a clean swipe, killing a small bird. Dinner! Ocean Fire thought as he settled down below a tree. He didn't mind being alone, in fact he kind of liked it. Ocean Fire had no intent of finding a mate anytime soon. He finished his dinner, licking his lips. He crouched down then took off flying above the canopy and into the sunset.
