Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

FTW, otherwise known as that lucky piece of shiny dragon dung or For The Win, has absurdly good luck. He succeeds at nearly everything he tries. If he tries to woo a female, he succeeds; if he tries to do a triple backflip from a standing position, he succeeds; if he tries to catch the largest piece of prey possible to impress his gorgeous mate, he succeeds. This constant good luck has its price though, and that price manifests itself in the attitude that other dragons have towards him.

They're not only jealous of his enormous good fortune, but also always annoyed with him. He's unbearably stuck up, and to them that's one good reason never to have him as a friend. So, the price of good luck for FTW is that he will never have friends.
