Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Heat of Warmest Light (Light) is the clan's first ultraviolet dragon. There is nothing she loves more than to sunbathe outside when she's not out hunting. She is fairly easy going and laid back, but tends to get annoyed fairly easily. She lacks patience, though that could just be her youth. Even so, she is well liked and has many close friends. She is known for her steadfast loyalty even in the face of opposition.
