Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is very aggressive, and has brilliant turquoise markings all over its body.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Everyone knows a certain person who just loves to blow stuff to smithereens. Kutiru is the person in her clan who loves to do just that. Wither it be electrical, from the electric dragons, chemical, from a dragon's accidental burp, or natural, from whatever goes 'BAM' in a forest fire, you can count on Kutiru staring at it like it's an explosion. This is hypothesized to be Kutiru's form of release from her breed's natural violence, so as a result of her obsession, this girl tends to be more friendly in terms of conversation and just plain hanging out. But if she goes one week without a small-scale mushroom cloud, Kutiru gets as irritable as a Magma Dragon taking a bath.
