Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

"The field was cold and wet with the morning dew. A dragon lifted her head to the sunrise and watched it slowly seep over the mountaintops, then snorted and galloped off into the distance. But she had left something behind- a small opaque dragon egg, nestled in the tall stalks of grass near the edge of the field. The area was deserted now, save for this tiny little creature, its future yet unknown.

Somehow this tiny egg ended up in a nearby cave, where a young dragontender by the name of Tammibabs discovered it. She took it home to her scroll and kept it warm and healthy, waiting for the day the dragon inside would emerge from its shell.

It finally did, and she was given the name Feidrya. She quickly learned to run and gallop, and soon to fly. One day she wishes she could return to the place of her birth, to be reunited with her own kind. She is very proud and trustworthy, and will put her life on the line for her beliefs. Perhaps one day we will know why she was abandoned."
