Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Citrinimim Lyzar GoldenJoy (after the gemstone: Citrine) joined the clan cave as its 177th dragon, a joy filled and generous gift from the Lady Lyzar, a new-found friend and mentor to The Clan Mother. Her hatchling days were filled with happiness and excitement as visitors came from far and wide to lay their eyes upon this golden ray of springtime purity. While she understands and appreciates the attention, somehow she has managed to retain an air of modesty and quiet humility, never allowing herself to fall victim to the urges of prideful arrogance. Although she is rarely alone, she enjoys calm, peaceful walks among the trees and flower fields that encircle the clan cave, sometimes losing herself to the natural beauty of her surroundings. The Clan Mother worries about her safety during such excursions, but none of the clan dragons would ever allow harm to befall her. She hopes one day to find true love, and pass along her gifts of golden joy to others, like her parents did with her.
