Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vicious and merciless, Umeter is a very solitary dragon, prizing his territory and solitude so much that even an unwanted pin dropping sets him off.

No one knows why Umeter likes to be alone so much, because even others of his own kind during mating season will have to face him in vicious, bloody brawls to pass safely, of which he is almost always the winner. It might be because he prizes his dominance above all else, having been once a weak, sickly hatchling that was picked on by others due to him being half the size of a regular Ice Dragon as a hatchling, even when mature. Or maybe, it could be because he was fooled by someone once and lost a treasure very important to him because of that ruse, but regardless, few have passed through his territory and lived to tell the tale. He will freeze and murder anyone who dares step foot in it.
