Shimmer-scale Dragons are a very beautiful breed with small—but highly reflective—scales that shimmer and shine as the dragon moves through water. They don’t have fins or webbed feet, but their long, eel-like bodies allow them to swim quite fast. They were once rumored to carry large pearls in their claws—causing many to seek them out in search of this fabulous treasure. In reality, the “pearl” is of greater value to the dragon, for the fabled treasure is actually an egg carried by a migrating female.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

T'sumeh was born of a cursed clan that allowed him to take a monstrous wolf-like form on will, but his clan was hunted and killed for their powers that allegedly would destroy the world. T'sumeh fled and was able to make a life for himself on the streets of a big city, becoming the leader of a group of thieves that raided caravans for food and otherwise kept to the shadows. He was happy enough, or so he thought.

Then he came face-to-face with an arrogant young dragon who turned out to be another member of his clan. The dragon, haughty but deeply hurt from scars of his own past, spoke of a place he knew only as Paradise where their kind could live in peace. T'sumeh never believed the dragon, but he realized he was tired of hiding among lowlife. He wanted to live again.

So T'sumeh left with him on his crazy quest that was surely bound for failure. They now wander Valkemare in search of this Paradise, and T'sumeh, despite his cynicism, has never been more happy in his life.
