Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kepesk'aesthyr is enraptured by the weather in all its forms and will fly vast distances to experience weather in other climates and types of weather. While she is home she enjoys changing the weather seemingly at random, generating erratic seasons and paradoxical phenomenon when she is in a particularly experimental mood. She enjoys combing lightning and snow together as the sudden light glimmers off the snowflakes as they fall, though it often simply melts them. She gets quite angry with people who curse the weather or request her to stop and will often target them with small clouds that are charged with static that she directs, following them around for the rest of the day. These small clouds take a lot of energy to focus so weather returns to normal as she no longer focuses on creating bizarre changes.
