Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very light and enjoys bouncing all around.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Nibin Fan might be petty, but is definitely not comparable to a cloud (as his name suggests). Instead of ambling around lazily, like a cloud might (or like some dragons wish he would), this little balloon spends his time propelling himself through the air at full speed. A bit of a show off, he is constantly demonstrating his 'fancy' aerial antics even to those who don't want to watch. Often, he ends up colliding with the cavern walls or with other dragons, usually resulting in a few angry dragons and a deflated and grounded Nibin Fan.
