Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Valkyria is a fun-loving and playful dragon. Due to the various Black dragons in her lineage, she is very competitive when playing games with her friends, especially with her best friend Drominik. She can use small bits of her natural healing magic, and is also able to fly short distances. She is very proud of her small abilities. Valkyria is very kind and optimistic, preferring to see the bright side of life in all situations. She likes to avoid fighting, but she enjoys a good play-fight with Drominik once in a while. She especially likes to sit in a field of flowers and enjoy the natural beauty around her. Despite being independent and a little stubborn, she is shy around new people and doesn't like being alone. She enjoys spending time with Drominik, and has promised to never leave her friend's side.
