Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Two hundred years ago, a Great Earthquake awoke from slumber a Green Dragon, one that had for thousands of years had slept in a vast network of caves under a volcanic lake. When she awoke, Her massive body, that had slowly molded the earth around her as she slept, broke free from the caves. As she did so, her chamber broke, creating a huge hole in the bottom of the lake, draining the water into the underground caves. This sudden change in pressure caused the caves to collapse, sinking the ground for hundreds of miles around. The Ancient Dragon, seeing what had happend, did her best to restore what the awakening had done, but the land would be forever scarred. When she was finished, she left in search of another nest, she was getting to old for this.
