Brute Dragons are among the larger dragon breeds. They prefer to live in solitude or small groups, nesting in high, mountainous regions. The only time they openly seek the company of others is during the mating season, when males will fight for the attention of females. The thunderous crash of Brute Dragons butting horns against each other in competition for mates can be heard nearly a mile away.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Like father, like son. Reckless loves wrestling and getting into fights. He lives for the thrill of dominating opponents, especially those larger and stronger than himself. He is definitely the dumbest Xenofang sibling, far surpassing his equally bold sister, Burst. He actually behaves more like a drake than a dragon (not to knock any drakes in the crowd, of course.) He is very strictly loyal to his parents, they are the only ones who are able to fully control him. He will also listen to his siblings (mainly Burst), but he's still known to get out of control when they're around. When calm, Reckless can be kind of adorable. He'll curl up close to those he trusts and remain by their sides, ready to defend them if danger ever arises. He and his father, Bash, make an insanely powerful team. If ever something threatens their family, Reckless and Bash will launch into action and take care of the problem. But, even when his father isn't around, Reckless is still a worthy opponent on his own.
