Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Born of skywing heritage, Wyndsuvchange brings chaos through wind wherever he flies. Large items may be turned upside down, livestock may wind up on roofs, orderly stowed items may be scattered, and random items may be stacked neatly in a tower. No one can predict exactly what will happen when he arrives, just that a magic wind will change things.

Perhaps the most astonishing change was for a farmer whose grain silo was emptied only to have cows stacked one atop another inside it. Fortunately the magic enabled each cow to support the weight of those above it without harm, until the farmer could engineer a way to get them out.
