Harvest Dragons are a large, flightless breed most often found in heavily forested mountains. Normally shy, these omnivorous dragons keep to themselves in remote regions, but in the fall they descend from their high territory to search for food—and lots of it. During the autumn months, harvest dragons will eat whatever they can find, from large and small animals to nuts and fruit. In the winter they retreat into large caves and hibernate until spring, living off the fat they have built up.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dance isn't the prettiest dragon, and mainly hangs in the back of the crowd. His only friends are a few kinda-nerdy dragons who nobody knows. Rarely does he try to make a conversation with other dragons other than his friends, better yet the Sanctuary owner herself Spyra. He is an amazing author of books though, and his looks are forgotten when his work is read. Dragons can read, they can write, and this one's writing makes a difference. He has written many scrolls, some telling of good deeds, and others telling of breath-taking lands. Though his writing is in Draconic, it is still a wonder for many to read.
