Sunbeam Drakes are the diurnal counterparts to Moonglow Drakes, their eggs having been laid during the daylight hours. They are around the size of a small dog, and while docile, can be flighty and easily startled. Most can be found high in treetops enjoying the bright sunlight, tucking themselves away at the first sign of a storm or impending nightfall. Sunbeam Drakes enjoy flying in the light of the sun, and their treetop dances are beautiful, dazzling, and serene.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Legends Light is a friendly, content, blissful dragon, having no care in the world, which is most definitely his weak point. He loves to fly around and act like a hatchling, and of course showing off in front of humans and taking their treats from their hands like a dog. Although he is quick to act when trouble comes and is able to fly away in a second. Legends Light is grateful to the Tribe of the Valley Plateau who took him in and began to teach him, like no other clan would do, for they didn't like that he was so carefree. Yet Legends Light still enjoys his humans but he's beginning to learn to act like a fierce dragon, of course, though, with tons of fun!
