Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A silent huntress and swift killer, Wing Whispers has taught herself the art of silent flying. Hatched and raised by a little-known band of skywing monks, Wing felt constricted by her hidden life of rituals and retreat, for the monks didn't want to be known; but one day, a murderous band of dragons came and wiped out the monks, leaving only Wing, hiding in fear. Fleeing for her life, Wing was able to escape the group of murderers; she soon was running from everything, teaching herself how to fly silently in order to escape. Known only to few skywing dragons, this art is known as the most deadly form of flying, letting the dragon sneak up silently on just about anything. Wing understood that if she was to live, she had to retaliate, and when the murderous dragons came after her, she made her first kill. From that day on, Wing has devoted herself to finding and killing all of the murderous dragons, becoming a vengeful, spiteful skywing, silently striking down those who ruined her life.
