Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts winter weather.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

A spell was cast on Miw Rhiwlug ar Dineth and he will stay forever a hatchling in size. It was the first time it happened to a dragon in this cave. Nonetheless he is a very clever and mature dragon, who often helps other solving problems. But he still enjoys rollicking in the snow.

Miw Rhiwlug was the 18th abandoned egg that was given a new home by Drachenbraut. He is named in the Elvish tongue Sindarin. His name means "little winter dragon". "Ar Dineth" is added to indicate that he belongs to Drachenbraut's clan.
