Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Labradrius GlowingHeart (after the gemstone: Labradorite) was the 77th dragon to join the clan cave, and although his beginnings were bright, fate did not allow such to continue. From a noble clan, a true example of the sweet melody of life blown along the wind, his egg was a precious gift of joy and friendship. It is said there is but one forbidden love among dragon kind. Whether it be truth or fable, none can be certain; a love between dragon and human, for no human can live the life a dragon does. For a time, he radiated with such a vibrant brilliance that the very sun itself was dim in comparison, and each day he danced among the flowers. When it was discovered to whom he had given his heart, the clan elders cried for their dear clan mate, knowing that his human love would pass away. Despite the warnings, they endured, until one day, the dawn did not come for Labradrius love. That day, like each day from that to this, his shimmer ebbed away with the loss of his one true love.
