Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The cold north drew him like nothing else could, and so it was to what he traveled; mountain by mountain, creeping up with the winter, the white haze of snow growing ever thicker about him. Those who saw him said he was insane, that his breed had no place so far north, and yet he continued--on and on and upwards until he reached it, the very end, the coldest place on earth. He had never felt more at peace.

Now all but a permanent resident, Hokuto spends his days romping with ice and frost dragons, drifting south only when the desire to visit his family takes him. Such trips also serve a secondary purpose; icebound ships and lost travelers often find salvation at this dragon's claws, the gentle beast helping them back towards the warmer climes where they belong.
