Bright-Breasted Wyverns are a breed of dragon easily recognized by their bright red markings. They are a small breed, only the size of a full-grown man. However, they have developed poisonous barbs on their feet to make up for their size. Their coloration is used to warn off potential predators of the danger, and is also used to attract mates. They are very social, and can often be seen preening in large groups.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kelly is a wild, unpredictable, free-spirited girl. Being the second oldest of the Fossil family, and with Caddy's unhelpful attitude, she's looked up to by the rest of her siblings and is completely unaware of it. Her long and scattered lineage doesn't bother her; they didn't raise her, so why should she care about them. Her family is right here with the rest of the Fossils.

She thinks Glory is cute and spends as much time as she can with him. She doesn't care if they end up mating or just being best friends. She's also fond of pretty much every female in the Fossil family, and will be excited for days when a new hatchling matures enough for her to know it's a girl.

Kelly spends more time flying than anyone else in the family, even the Skywing Twins, and often challenges them to races or games. The Twins are both sore losers though, so they don't like playing with her much.
