Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

NeonZ is protective of the island, doing what he must to try to save it from the other groups of dragons. Raised by hand, he was very responsive, yet protective towards New Mecca and his group on the island. NeonZ is strong, and will not back down from a challenge, unless it is hunting. He is not a bad hunter, but not the best, and that is one of his many flaws. NeonZ will do what he must to protect his small, but growing group of dragons consisting of Haleo, Chimerean, Crevasan, Karvian, Rigorous Flight, Plasmium, Exmium, Secret Ember Orb, Winter Nightmare, and Top Soul; as well as all of the group's eggs and hatchlings.
