Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Taghdach is a female Tinsel dragon who certainly lives up to her name. She is an extremely temperamental dragon who is more than a little big-headed. In Taghdach's opinion, there is not a single dragon in the clan who is as beautiful as her. She cannot be denied the fact that she is a very pretty dragon. Her silver coat gleams like the stars in the night sky and her greenery is particularly lustrous. Taghdach is boastful of her pristine appearance, especially among dragons whose coats are less sleek than hers. This boasting has earned Taghdach plenty of enemies.

Taghdach's moodiness is particularly evident whenever she wants something. She can go from an endurable mood to a screaming, whining fit when she sees something that she desires. Due to the annoyance and inconvenience which her tantrums cause, many dragons simply hand her whatever she wants in an attempt to silence her. It's no surprise that Taghdach is considered immature and irritating by most of the other dragons.
