White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Esmeralda Helrion is a kind and caring dragon who, like most white dragons, would rather heal a wounded hatchling than fight a vicious enemy. She is the exact opposite of her mate, Kage'Ryuu, who is a powerful warrior. Her calm temperament perfectly counters his fiery rage, keeping the dark warrior in check when he loses it.
