Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

And Then The Beat Drops is an excitable male Lumina dragon. On the surface, he seems similar to any other dragon of his breed, with opalescent scales preened to perfection. However, give him any piece of good (or even vaguely alright) news and he will begin to jump up and down in glee. And Then The Beat Drops' attitude towards seeing new objects and meeting new dragons is equally overenthusiastic. Many dragons that inhabit the Land of HeroHorse try to avoid And Then The Beat Drops as best as possible. He seems to be oblivious to the avoidance of these dragons, as he does not want to be in the company of those who do not accept him for who he is.

Despite lacking popularity among the more reserved dragons, And Then The Beat Drops does have quite a few friends. He is a social dragon, although he is vain and spends a lot of time arranging his appearance to perfection. And Then The Beat Drops is loyal and very funny to be around. The origins of his strange name have yet to be discovered.
