Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Living in the dense jungle, JungleRain loves to sit still outside during a thundershower. He loves the feeling of rain flowing off his sleek body. It makes him feel as if his worries are all washed away. Once the rain stops and the sun comes out, JungleRain would fly up, bursting out of the forest canopy. And as the sunlight hits his gleaming-wet body, a rainbow would form around him, capturing his large wings in a beautiful sight. Everyday, JungleRain goes out searching for ripe mangos, for they are his favorite fruit. When he finds on, he would chase off whomever is around him to enjoy his treat. He would rip the tender skin of the fruit to get to the delightful flesh inside. As the delicious juice drips down his chin, he could gorge himself. Finished, JungleRain licks the last drops of juice away before settling down for a nap.
