Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Maccoyii, though she's picked up on her mother's regal attitude, is highly playful and often spends time with Levinni's play group or helping Nalini practice her magic. She loves to make friends and made her own "pod" out of the other sea loving dragons, and sometimes she tries to frighten people out fishing by pulling them around by their lines (though it's lead to quite a few accidental "piercings"). Despite this she lets human children play with her while they swim and will bring people to shallow waters again if they've become shipwrecked, tired, or pulled out by the tide.
