Imperial Fleshcrownes are an active and playful breed. They are equally good at flying and climbing and while they are not good swimmers, they love to take an occasional dip. Fleshcrownes live in large social groups called “communities.” Adult Fleshcrownes share the responsibility of looking after the young, who are very playful and active. Even after maturing, they retain their curious and mischievous natures, often getting into trouble. The fleshy crowns on their head can be raised at will, and are usually erect when happy, excited, or scared. Fleshcrownes—being a very peaceful breed—are more prone to flight than fight. If threatened, they can raise their crowns while hissing in an attempt to scare off predators.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Guardian Sun is one of the biggest troublemakers in the Spectrum Clan. Most of the time she looks innocent and well-behaved. But the second all eyes are off of her, she is off making mischief. She is known for pulling pranks and teasing larger dragons, which gets the whole clan in trouble. Guardian even causes trouble for the nearby villages by damaging some of their crops and stealing from the merchants. Her mischievous nature got so bad at one point that some villagers used to believe that she was sent by the gods to punish them. Her human wasn't very pleased about having to clear up the rumor and apologize for her behavior. Besides messing with other dragons, Guardian enjoys chasing creatures smaller than her and playing with the hatchlings. Her rival is her daughter, Restless Energy.
