Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Enigma Ishlarev is a somewhat odd black dragon. He was so named for his habit of always speaking in riddles, something he has done from the time he was a new hatchling. Where this eccentricity came from, no dragon is quite sure. Some of the more skeptical shake their heads and say that he is simply not quite right in the head or that, being small and weak for a black dragon, he does it for the attention he receives. It certainly is true that his small size puts him at a disadvantage among his breed, who value strength...whether physical or magical. It is also true that Enigma's oddity sets him apart from all the other black dragons of the Java Tiger clan. The more superstitious in the clan, and even among the humans nearby, believe that Enigma has been gifted as a seer, soothsayer or prophet and take his pronouncements seriously. It isn't strange to see a crowd of both dragons and humans waiting to hear his 'predictions'. The catch is that one must first decipher his riddling talk!
