Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Powerful in presence and in mind, Eloquatia demands the attentions of those around her—often unintentionally.

Her body ripples with light muscle, clearly defined under her shimmering metallic-like skin.  Her streamers have grown long enough to give her an almost tangled-up look; this, however, only adds a touch of wildness to her dominant strength.

Despite this, she is not cruel—simply stubborn and proud.  She shows a distaste for hatchlings scampering around her, and instead piles her mandatory babysitting duties to her twin sister, Ueaventia, who delights caring for the little terrors.  She focuses her life instead on sharing short, blunt words with some of the more meek dragons in the weyr, intent on boosting their self-confidence and helping them to focus or find their talents.  Her words at times seem harsh and unnecessary, and many lesser beings shy away from her; however, those willing to put up with her prickly aura do discover her to be a true companion.
