Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This cold dragon lives in a town that, at first glance, appears to be paradise. Beautiful houses everywhere, plenty of food, dragons and men living in perfect harmony... It is all a great lie. In reality the town's rich prosper off the suffering and misery of the poor, treating them more like slaves than citizens and setting their dragons to maim anyone who refuses to do their work for them. But this female is blind to it all; believing her owner to be a kind and just man, she has failed to realize, through either naivety or self-induced ignorance, that in time he will use her as a weapon as well.

But there is someone who IS aware of the peril she's in--a wild albino, constantly seen trying to get her attention from outside the town's gilded gates, to convince her to flee with him before she becomes another one of the village's monsters. But she ignores him, leaving him to stand alone as she struts past with her master.
